OIII architects focuses on the design and technical development of both buildings and interiors. We work on a wide range of projects, from (very) large to small, and across many sectors. For us, architecture and interior design are of equal importance. With our many years of experience in integrating these design disciplines, we create high-quality, carefully detailed designs. Our extensive knowledge of both architecture and interior design also adds value to projects that focus specifically on either one.

creating space

We design spaces where people can feel at home and at their best. In our educational projects, for example, we aim to facilitate—and ideally stimulate—the curiosity of students so they can develop themselves with enthusiasm. In office designs, we strive to create inspiring work environments that encourage collaboration, creativity, and ease.
Every design is unique and must meet the needs of the users, the context, and the ever-changing future.

We approach each assignment with a thorough analysis of the requirements, a trained eye for (technical) detail, and personal attention to a pleasant and effective collaboration. Our careful and engaged approach leads to buildings that are user-friendly, efficient, and sustainable, and precisely tailored to the needs of both clients and users.

creating space

We design spaces where people can feel at home and at their best. In our educational projects, for example, we aim to facilitate—and ideally stimulate—the curiosity of students so they can develop themselves with enthusiasm. In office designs, we strive to create inspiring work environments that encourage collaboration, creativity, and ease.
Every design is unique and must meet the needs of the users, the context, and the ever-changing future.

We approach each assignment with a thorough analysis of the requirements, a trained eye for (technical) detail, and personal attention to a pleasant and effective collaboration. Our careful and engaged approach leads to buildings that are user-friendly, efficient, and sustainable, and precisely tailored to the needs of both clients and users.

design process

We involve the expertise of other consultants early in the design process. An integrated approach ensures that functional and aesthetic qualities can be optimally combined with other crucial aspects such as building physics and cost control. For us, integrated design means not only close collaboration between designers, consultants, and contractors, but also active involvement of the client and users in optimizing the design. This broad participation ensures that the final result aligns well with the wishes and needs of the user(s).

sustainability

We consider the efficient use of resources, energy, and water a natural part of the design and construction process, but we take a pragmatic approach: the measures must also enhance the quality of the building. The sustainability of a building is not only determined by the materials and systems used but also by the well-being of its users—a healthy indoor climate, comfort, and spatial quality both inside and around the building. Functional adaptability is also part of this.
By adopting a broader perspective on the concept of sustainability, we believe it is possible to create buildings that are future-proof—and therefore more truly sustainable.
