design process
We involve the expertise of other consultants early in the design process. An integrated approach ensures that functional and aesthetic qualities can be optimally combined with other crucial aspects such as building physics and cost control. For us, integrated design means not only close collaboration between designers, consultants, and contractors, but also active involvement of the client and users in optimizing the design. This broad participation ensures that the final result aligns well with the wishes and needs of the user(s).
sustainability
We consider the efficient use of resources, energy, and water a natural part of the design and construction process, but we take a pragmatic approach: the measures must also enhance the quality of the building. The sustainability of a building is not only determined by the materials and systems used but also by the well-being of its users—a healthy indoor climate, comfort, and spatial quality both inside and around the building. Functional adaptability is also part of this.
By adopting a broader perspective on the concept of sustainability, we believe it is possible to create buildings that are future-proof—and therefore more truly sustainable.
